Leading supplier to the Australian trucking industry, Bridgestone, has extended its partnership with industry body NatRoad for a further two years. The tyre company has bolstered its support through to 2021 by backing NatRoad's recently announced careers initiative.
Bridgestone became a platinum partner of NatRoad in 2017 and will continue to offer members a 10 per cent saving on Bridgestone and Firestone drive, steer and trailer tyres, as well as the range of Bandag retread products as part of its commitment to the industry.
Through the NatRoad partnership, Bridgestone will also promote career prospects within its network of company owned stores throughout Australia via NatRoad's new careers portal.

NatRoad is a membership based industry body assisting road transport professionals through advocacy and advice. For Bridgestone, the partnership is centred on supporting the communities it operates in and enhancing mobility solutions – in line with the company's global social responsibility commitment, known as 'Our Way to Serve'.

Figures supplied by NatRoad show there are more than 45,000 trucking business in Australia, employing more than 140,000 workers.
